i have a 16month old that have't had a pacifier since she was 4months old or so and she does'nt sleep alnight either she wakes up about every 2 hours or so. I'v found that if we wait to give her a bottle until right before she goes to bed she sleeps a little longer we also sleep with a light on in the hall way so when she does wake up she can see us a little easer so she will usually go back to sleep easier but your baby might be waking up a lot if shes hungry try feeding a little later in the evening. I have also experienced that its seems to be better to let them have a pacifier then to try and break them from sucking the thumb or fingers example came from having my three nieces a lot hope this helps

I feel for you man, same thing happens to me. The easiest way to fall asleep is think of a story, where your the hero. Like I imagine myself an all star football player at Texas. Just keep adding to your story and eventually you'll fall asleep. The next night just add on to where you left off at. About waking up in the middle of the night just make sure any light is not facing you: turn your alarm clock around, make sure the tv is off, and all that good stuff.

How to replace a brake light switch on a honda prelude?

All you need 14mm wrench. When your laying on the floor board disconnect the 4 pin connector that is on the brake light switch. If you cannot get your fingers on the lock tab on the connector take the 14mm wrench and loosen the jam nut that is on the brake light switch and rotate the switch until the lock tab is exposed. If you look at the new switch you will see the plunger that will make contact with the brake pedal switch. When you install the switch make sure the switch is fully depressed but make sure that you don't cause the switch to push down on the brake pedal or it may cause the brakes to apply. All you want is the plunger to be pressed down if you screw it down to far the metal part of the switch will make contact with the brake pedal and start applying the brakes. Good luck it really not that hard.

The regulator has a switch on it to convert to propane. It is usually under a knob or cover. Be careful with this. If you aren't confident in doing this, get someone to do it. Thinking of volunteering abroad and need some help!!?

Hey, so my friend and I are thinking of volunteering in some developing countries next summer and i was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this??..... We are both 16 and I know there is a few different companies that have special programes for 16-19 year olds and that kind of thing. The places we were thinking of going are (only 1 but we cant decide where to go) Fiji, Cambodia, China, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka or Thailand)..... Any tips, advice or general comments would be good!!....

Anyone else had a problem with Safe Cat breakaway collars?

We've been using Safe Cat collars on several of our cats for years, but have run into an unusual (?) problem. We apply Advantage topical medicine on the back of our cats near their shoulder blades monthly to control fleas, ticks, etc. We just found one Safe Cat collar where the release mechanism seemed to be glued together-presumably from contact with the medicine. We had to cut the collar off as we couldn't pry the release apart. It could have killed our cat if it had become hung-up on something. Anyone have similar experiences? We're just trying to determine if this could be an ongoing problem.

I already want to kill my roommate?

So I am rooming with this girl I met last year in college and she is a nice person, just very self involved. She was an only child and very spoiled. Still is. We are going to have suite mates. (basically we have four rooms all connected to a bathroom that 8 girls share. ewww i know) well we have all been trying to talk about the bathroom rules and cleaning and so on. My roommate is being so stubborn! For starters she is refusing to pitch in for any kind of soap, t-paper and cleaning supplies. She says everyone should worry about themselves and care their own soap and t-paper every time we go in to use the bathroom. Now I don't know about you but I don't always think to myself bring t-paper with you before you go in there. We are basically out voted her. I told her she could use her own stuff but don't touch ours if that is how she is going to be. Then she says well that is not fair. What if I need something? Now how does that make sense? She wont share her stuff but expects us to share ours with her? What that h*ll? What do we tell her. I told her no but she just laughed at me. I don't want to get all the girls to gang up on her but I don't know what else to do. Help!

Soo I have this hugh bruise.?

I woke up the other morning with a hugh bruise on my side were my ribs are like i mean this bruise is the size of a baseball and so dark that it doesn't look like it's going to go away. Next time you should just tell him all these things you posted here, or make the list and give it to him(LOL) and to grow up, then perhaps ask to switch rooms if he doesn't realize he's a total moron. If this fails beat him at his own game, he's obviously not very smart, so make his arguments seem really foolish and just walk away. Another option is to basically treat him like hes 5 and ask him to fix anything he has out of line, you can't possibly be so ignorant to ignore that, and feigning it would be pretty darn hard after a week.

Crawford is very valuable. His speed and his batting average are both great. Haren is having a great year, but his last few outings have been horrible. Verlander's last 2 outings weren't too great either though. I guess it's a tie for those two. Rollins beats Tulowitzki, but both are hitting great. Morneau is having a great year. It kind of depends on your families traditions. When I was a little kid, a gift from Santa for me would always show up on the table as well as one for my mom and my dad. My parents kind of just like surprising each other with one extra little gift every Christmas. My family and my fiancee's family all still exchange gifts from "Santa" every year, even though there are no young children anymore. It's just kind of fun. I took an HPT after my period was one day late and got a BFN. I keep reading and hearing that the test is most likely right because it would be able to pick up the hormone. How true is this? I'm changing the way I eat to develop healthier habits. I need to lose weight and keep it off. Sometimes I get discouraged because it's such a struggle and there seems to be no end in sight. I ume that you would be looking for a copy of The Wizard of Oz, that was released in 1939, the way it was before they had the message that is shown before the start of the film, that begins for over 40 years. I don't know if any such copies of the Original version even exist today. But that doesn't mean that they aren't out there, but I haven't heard of any copies of the Wizard of Oz even one dvd, as the way it is was released from 1939. Plus how would you know for sure that that is how it looked in 1939? Of course I do know and have at least 3 different copies of the Wizard of Oz, but I doubt that any are what you are looking for. And they just might be special editions, one is a 3 disc Edition, and the other is the 70th anniversary Edition of the movie. Is it safe to take thyroid complex supplements?

I am on a very strict diet and an worried about the amount of iodine I am taking in, I don't think its enough so I figure if I take supplements I can be sure not to get iodine deficiency, but I read that you can od on iodine if you have to much but I have no iodine in my current diet and I don't plan on changing my diet because apart from that it is a great diet and has nearly all essential vitamins and minerals. I posted a similar question about a month ago... idk if anyone remembers... but actually, the situation's got a lot worse now... I knw you guys are gonna think I'm an idiot for getting all worried for this, but it's actually really worrying. It started yesterday evening... Me and my sisters have this kitchen duties thing... so it was my 2nd youngest sister's turn to do the dishes for supper... but she said no... and my Mum started getting kinda angry... then I said I'll do the dishes... but then my Mum's like no, no, you lot just watch TV and I'll do the dishes... and she wouldn't let me do them, even though I insisted... then she finished and she started getting all angry, and she was like, oh! I've got 4 daughters and none of them do anything for me and my husband actually tells them how bad I am and he teaches them to hate me... I was like, no... we don't think that and stuff but she just carried on. Then we all went to bed, and the next day she started it all over again! She's a Sunni and my Dad and all the rest of us are Shias... We were gonna go to a Milad at the Imambargha coz it was Bibi Faitmah's (sa) birthday... so she started arguing, just so that we can't get ready and we all get late, and stuff. She was arguing with my Dad and she was saying how evil his family is and how much she misses her parents and stuff. Then we went to the Milad and when we came back, she was okay. Then in the evening, she started everything again! I cooked the curry and she made me put a bit more oil in it and my Dad pointed out to her that the oil was too much... so she started saying that it's got nothing to do with him and he shouldn't try and correct her and she wouldn't admit her mistake. Then my Dad got angry and he said she's crossing her boundaries coz she started insulting his parents. Then she finally admitted that she was wrong and my Dad told her she should have said that before, but then she started saying how her parents wanted her to get married to this old man and she had to agree to make them happy and all that. I have this really bad feeling that she's just gonna carry on fighting and my Dad's gonna have no choice but to give her a divorce. She'll just force me to go with her to Pakistan and live with her parents, not get an education, and then get married to some next illiterate Sunni, Pakistani guy. I really don't know what to do... I knw I shouldn't take sides, but I think both of them have done something wrong: My Dad should treat her a bit more nicely, and she should stop complaining and hating on our religion. I really think something bads gonna happen and it's going to ruin my life. My Dad's a 68 yr old man with heart problems and he's already had a heart attack once... He can't take this kinda atmosphere in the house... I don't want anything to happen to him... and I don't want my Mum make the wrong choice either... I think in some ways yes because what few wrestlers there are already like shelton benjamin, kofi kingston, mark henry are all good at what they do. Shelton is one of the best pure athletes, kingston is fun to watch bec/ of his style, and Henry is good at playing a heel. i think it is a nice poem. i stayed interested throughout. it sounds like your coach was a jerk. but, with due respect, maybe you shouldnt let yourself off the hook either. if you chose the church youth event instead of practice, then you should have realized that there would be a consequence to that. you could use that as a learning experience. also, when your coach tested you by leaving you behind, that was cruel and dirty. but you could learn from your friend who did not let the coach beat him down, he showed up to the game anyway and he ended up playing. this showed great resiliency, determination, and boldness. to do what you love, you may have to deal with obstacles and adversity, but if you choose to give up, then you will never do what you love.

Where can I buy one of the pick-up trucks that the military and contractors use in Iraq and Afghanistan?

I'm currently stationed in Iraq, and as we draw down the number of troops and equipment, I can't help but wonder where all this equipment is going? I know about a third of it is going to Afghanistan, and about a third is getting turned over to the Iraqi government, but what about the pick-up trucks. There are 2006-2009 F-150s, Rams, and Suburbans everywhere. It wouldn't surprise me if we are giving them all to the Iraqis, but does anyone know of any way a Soldier can purchase one of these trucks? I know they are beat up, but a little work and one would make the perfect utility truck. I've tried online auctions, but most of the trucks are just ancient 5 tons.

1 year old son not well what to do?

Help! Freshwater Aquarium Questions?

Ok, I've kept a freshwater aquarium in the past and withing the past 3 months I set up a new one. Well, everything was going just fine and about after 2 months, I added a pecostamus fish. I had had one before and loved it. It helped to keep my tank clean. Well, I went in there this morning to find it belly up! I was shocked! I've never had a fish to die that quick! I've had it about 2 weeks. I've always had great luck with fish. So, I tested the water, as I do every week, and the ammonia was sky high! I know it will raise when you have one to die. But for some reason, the aquarium, especially the gravel is filthy! It looks awful and I feel so bad for the fish I have in there. I have 3 tetra's in now. How can I clean the tank and the gravel and get my leval's back to norm? I mean, the gravel is really bad! I've never had this happen. What's up???? Please help me! "_

I have worked on several Saturn that have hit a curb and found the most common problem is the frame where the lower control arm is connected to the frame is bent causing the vehicle to need a new sub frame, If you OK the repair from sears be sure to get it in writing that if this don't fix the problem you don't pay for any repair, tell the service personal you want to check the drivability first before you pay. Be sure it drives a straight line for at least 1/2 mile with hands off wheel on a flat road at 30 mph, be safe and ready to grab the steering wheel in-case it veers right or left, if it veers then the alignment is off and the repair was wrong. The thing you said needed to replace sounds like things that would need repair because of the hit anyway but the true cause is likely the frame and should be checked for bent spots where the lower control is connected to the frame. Look at your team page and then click on 'head to head stats' in the top right corner of the standings box. There, you can see what categories you are strong in and which you are weak. The thing is about head to head, is that you don't need to be great in every category. You just need to win 5 each week. So, you could think about taking your worst category and 'punting' that statistic. Mabye try to trade someone who is good in your worst category in order to get better in a category where you are decent, but not great. I was raised a lutheran and we believe in infant baptism, but my husband was raised evangelical and believes in children baptism. I share a vacation home with family . We are all gun owners. Family members leave ammunition in the house in unlocked cabinets and on shelves when the the house is not occupied. I would like to know if there are laws pertaining to storing ammunition in a residence in Indiana, I am of the mind that it is a dangerous proposition to leave it in the house and/or left in a unlocked cabinet. This is a rural area and break-ins are not uncommon. I am fearful someone may take the ammunition and cause harm on our property or elsewhere. Am I right to be concerned? Are there any laws in Indiana that cover only the ammunition in a house if the firearms are removed? Family members are of the mind that without a gun the ammunition will not cause harm so it is ok to leave it in the house because the guns have been removed. Why arent my antibiotics working?

ive had a sickness now since last wednesday night...since then everythings gotten better. Though on sunday I woke up with my ear feeling like it was plugged and it sometimes hurt. two days later i woke up with pink eye. the doctor said i had an ear infection, and upper respiratory infection, a sinus infection and pink eye and prescribed me with an antibiotic and eye drops. that was tuesday and now it is friday and my eye has gone away almost completely. I have been taking a pill twice a day (eye drops twice a day as well) but my ear is still plugged, and still hurts occasionally. it feels like it hasnt gotten better at all. i still have about 6 more days worth of taking the antibiotic, but Im puzzled as to why the eye would go away yet the ear hasnt even improved. thanks

I have the BIGGEST crush on this guy from school (university). Its been over four months and I can't seem to get over him. How do i land tre flips?

So i used to try treflips alot and occasionaly would land them but i would usually slip out but sometimes i would land decently clean. Now ive been practicing a kickflips and ollies and ledge tricks. I have a pretty solid kickflip that i catch before i land and a about 3 foot high ollie. I can do the motion of the tre and i get really close to landing it alot but now for some reason im doing a frontside 60 degree or so body varial and my board isnt fliping the full 360, so in short i just need to know if there are any tricks on actually landing tres and geting them to flip under you, Thanks.

Last House on the Left Remake?

I have seen both. The remake left out a few things, the original was more than the new one, but I still liked it. They tied everything together quite nicely whereas in the original there were a lot of holes. I still love the new one even I'm a huge fan of the original. I wouldn't say it was butchered. I know that propane smells, and I know that you need to add silicon to it or your o-rings will dry out (among other things). Besides these two things, are there any disadvantages of using propane? Should i seek a commission?

Im 16 now and have been thinking about the marines for a while. Originally i wanted to just go in right after high school. My dad was all for it but was convinced that with my intellect i would be better suited getting a commission and leading marines as a lieutenant. Im in a pretty prestigious high school, play a lot of sports, in great shape, and with my grades i can get into a good college. The money would be an issue, and i guess thats where NROTC would help. I just found out that my grandmother is paralyzed at bangladesh. She went to visit there like 2 months ago and now she is sick. And know that the health system is bad there, and the doctors cares about the money and not about treating the clients rights makes me furious. Now i want to go there but i can't drop everything to go there. Plus i don't even have the money to go there. I just want to see her again one last time and so that i know shes going to be fine. My only regret is that i wish i spend more time with her, i wish i gave her presents and anything i can to make her happy, i wish i did more to make her life better. She did so much for me when i was small and never really care that much, until i grew up and realized that she is a great impact of my life.
