Is it possible to use propane for a gas stove if natural gas is not available?

Yes it is possible. Depending on the style of stove, most newer stoves have conversion orifices under the top of the stove. They are small and are usually tied together in some kind of bracket. The regulator has a switch on it to convert to propane. It is usually under a knob or cover. Be careful with this. If you aren't confident in doing this, get someone to do it.
