Did Leo Strauss steal his political theories from Enlightenment philosopher Thomas Hobbes?

all i know is that he's the father of neo conservatism and the teacher and mentor of Sayed Kutub the founder of the Muslim brotherhood of which AlQaeda is an off shoot.
