Describe how you can use a pendulum to measure your pulse rate?

Well I suppose if you were really bored you could adjust the length of the pendulum so that one swing of the pendulum corresponds to one beat of your heart. Then when you have the two synchronized you could measure the length of the string on your pendulum and figure out the time it should take for one swing and this will correspond to your hear rate.
