Need help with rats rats rat help?

ok, i'm going to go buy a pet rat. i read up about them. see the problem is i cant find ANYWHERE around me that sells PET rats! they all sell rats for snakes (which live in pine/ leads 2 uri). i want to buy a healthy PET rat. i live in san fernando CA and in Simi valley CA. please hlp? i've been trying for MONTHS i'm willing to go to a rat breeder / or store or anywhere really that's around those areas. pls help me? or if ur a rat breeder near or in those area's could u pls tell me or e-mail me pls? tyvm =D
