Fish Tank Question ?????????????????????

I have a few goldfish in my tank. But I want to change to either mollies or guppies. I bought a heater some ornaments, etc. What do I have to do before putting in those fish. Do I have to clean all the water out boil the ornaments again or something like that. (I am returning the goldfish.)
