How do I get my 9 month old too sleep through the night.. Not wake up 10x + for the dummy!?

i have a 16month old that have't had a pacifier since she was 4months old or so and she does'nt sleep alnight either she wakes up about every 2 hours or so. I'v found that if we wait to give her a bottle until right before she goes to bed she sleeps a little longer we also sleep with a light on in the hall way so when she does wake up she can see us a little easer so she will usually go back to sleep easier but your baby might be waking up a lot if shes hungry try feeding a little later in the evening. I have also experienced that its seems to be better to let them have a pacifier then to try and break them from sucking the thumb or fingers example came from having my three nieces a lot hope this helps
